Liberty Language Services Scholarship
The Liberty Language Service Annual Scholarship is dedicated to training and creating a bridge of communication between services and their clients, with a focus on providing translating and interpreters in medical and legal settings.
Liberty Language Services is proud to be offering a scholarship of $500 to a college or university undergrad or graduate student who understands the importance of providing interpretation services and is passionate about giving back to the community. We are seeking a strong individual who is passionate about helping others and bridging gaps in communication.
To be considered for this application, the applicant must…
Be enrolled in an accredited trade school, college, or university
Preference for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a language, linguistics, communications, legal, or medical field of study.
GPA 3.0 or higher and in good academic standing
Submit the following in one file by filling out the contact form below!
1. Write an essay on the topic: Share why you are passionate about the role of interpreters and translators in society (500-1000 words). The essay must be original. Any application with plagiarized content will be disqualified.
2. Brief Cover Letter explaining a little bit about who you are. Include:

One award will be offered each year in the amount of $500 (five hundred U.S. Dollars).
The deadline for submissions is March 1st at 11:59 PM (EST).
*Please note: The deadline date will be the same each year, regardless of what day of the week it falls on. The scholarship is offered annually.

Application is Free. We will not ask for any applicant's personal financial information such as a credit card or social security number at any point. Liberty Language Services will protect student's information and will not rent, share, sell, trade, or transfer student’s personal information.
Liberty Language Services attempts to share this scholarship with as many students as possible but reserves the right to withhold disbursement in the event there is no suitable applicant that meets this scholarship’s requirements.
